Social Seating and Booking Platform
What is it?
SeatID is a social seating and booking platform that helps eCommerce sites both in travel and ticketing improve conversion by showing shoppers who else bought this and is sitting where. SeatID adds social widgets to existing online ticketing and booking processes and pulls in profile information from both Facebook and LinkedIn to let users know which of their friends are on which flight, staying at which hotel, attending which concert, etc. This social proofing drives higher engagement and conversion.
SeatID is a Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud based solution.
SeatID does not require any integration with the website’s back-end systems. Addition of SeatID to the website takes only a few minutes, requires copying and pasting few snippets of code and is essentially the same as adding widgets to the website.

SeatID Social Widget
The SeatID social widget allows for easy implementation of social elements on to any website in minutes. It’s a simple copy and paste of code. Example of what the widget can show:
- Who of my friends will be on the flight / train / game / theater, etc.
- Who of my friends has ever been to this hotel? Or who of my friends will be at this hotel while I’ll be there?
- Who of my friends have made a reservation for this packaged deal?
The widget shows faces of people from four different social circles: friends, friends of friends, people with shared interests and everyone else – all based on privacy settings defined by the user.
SeatID supports the login through Facebook and LinkedIn. In the future, SeatID will add additional social networks.
Email to Users
SeatID socializes the whole ticketing and booking experience for the users. After the user has made the reservation, things keep on changing and other friends may buy tickets, reservations or make booking. SeatID keeps the users updated with these changes through a periodically email that is sent to update them.
Protecting the user’s data and privacy is of our top concern, that’s why SeatID has implemented a strict privacy protection policy that offers information controls to help users take charge of what information they do or don’t show. As a non-intrusive, opt-in service, SeatID only becomes effective when users choose to use it. If they don’t, they will just go though the usual ticketing or booking process without any disruption from SeatID and the user will not be visible to any of the other users. However if users do choose to use SeatID, they will have the option to define who will see them – all of that can easily be done by altering the settings.

Smart Matching Engine
SeatID developed a smart matching engine that searches for the best matches in real-time. The engine sorts the faces in the widget and learns about user’s preferences as users keep on using the system.
Easy Implementation – No Integration to any Backend System
SeatID does not require any integration with the website’s back-end systems. The SeatID widgets collect information from the website and attach it to social elements. There is no need to transfer any personal information to SeatID. Addition of SeatID to the website takes only a few minutes and is essentially the same as adding widgets to the website.
SeatID allows advanced customers to build their own UI on top of SeatID’s web services.
