SeatID Integrates Social Seating and Booking with Concur Travel

The integrated solution connects corporate travelers with their colleagues and friends who will be on the same flight, at the same hotel, and in the same destination city using social network profiles

Tel Aviv, June 18, 2014 – SeatID, a unique social seating and booking platform, today announced the integration of its Social Seating and Booking Platform with Concur® (NASDAQ: CNQR), a leading provider of spend management solutions and services. Through the power of Concur’s open platform, SeatID will help to enhance the existing business travel experience with a new set of business tools based on the users’ social media connections.

Using SeatID, corporate travelers now have the ability to better utilize their business trips by being able to meet colleagues, friends and new and interesting people on the flight, at the hotel or during their stay at the destination city. SeatID adds a social dimension to the existing online ticketing and booking process in Concur and offers a first class business tool for savvy corporate travelers and business passengers.

SeatID socializes trips by connecting travelers with colleagues, friends, and other people from their social networks, who will be on the same flight, at the same hotel, at the destination city, etc. By connecting SeatID with their Concur account, users will receive a post-booking email and periodic email updates from SeatID to let them know which of their colleagues, friends, friends of friends or people with common interests will share parts of their itinerary with them.

SeatID is an opt-in system. Travelers will only be visible to other users after they have specifically opted-in via their social network profile (e.g. Facebook and LinkedIn) and can modify visibility settings to determine just who will see them.
